MyLongLunch.com relaunches
MyLongLunch.com, the first social network for the recruitment advertising industry, launches its redesigned website today. MyLongLunch.com is a free and unique networking tool exclusively for professionals in the recruitment advertising industry.
To answer to a growing need in the recruitment field, MyLongLunch.com has redesigned its website and offers exciting new features. MyLongLunch.com - formed in 2008 by Jamie Leonard and incubated by Boring Limited1 - is the essential tool for agencies and media owners in the UK to do business efficiently in an industry that evolves constantly and rapidly. Creating the link between media owners and agencies through the website and live events, maintaining contacts and facilitating deals is MyLongLunch.com's mission.
"Today's launch puts MyLongLunch in an exciting position: at the centre of all recruitment advertising conversations. In 2008 our live events created hundreds of new connections between media and agencies and facilitated the generation of hundreds of qualified business leads. We're now applying this experience, along with the feedback from our clients, to make MyLongLunch.com the primary destination for recruitment advertising professionals," said Jamie Leonard, Managing Director, MyLongLunch LLP. Leonard adds,"The industry is facing its toughest year for over a decade and I cannot think of a better time to launch a site that helps agencies and media owners do more business."
MyLongLunch.com proposes two different levels of membership: the free basic account and the premium subscription offering a greater range of features and services.
Today MyLongLunch.com introduces four new features:
Exclusive Free Access: All registrations are manually vetted to ensure that MyLongLunch.com remains an exclusive network only for recruitment advertising professionals. A free membership is available to anyone working in the industry.
Private Messaging: Agency & Media users can communicate with colleagues, current business partners or create new opportunities. This messaging system means it's possible to directly get in touch with some of the industry's most influential players.
FYI: This exciting blogging tool gives any user the opportunity to say what's on their mind and take part in conversations happening throughout the industry. An FYI (short for For Your Information) could be an opinion, some industry news, a review of a great place to go on expenses or even a job vacancy.
Opportunities: Media owners can post late space, deals or packages and make these offers visible only to agency users or to anyone on the site. Agencies can search through all the available ‘Opportunities' using the powerful search functionality.

We were getting a bit bored with the old site, so dropped the neon yellow for some baby pink. It suits us, don't you think?
